Chris Low now stating that he thinks Terelle Pryor would be the starter at UTK today if Cutcliffe was still here. Apparently, Pryor really liked Cut and was ready to come to UTK but Duke was not an option.

That statement makes me want to vomit.

I think TP made the right choice for himself. If he was riding pine at tOSU then this would be something to talk about. He's proved that he could have started in several places.

if OSU didn't have an absolute disaster trying to start in front of him, he would be riding the pine.

His passing is awful.

How is that different from what he would have experienced here?

How fast, given that the results of the QB position was the same, do you think Cutcliffe would have pulled the plug on Crompton this year if he were here?

I think you would have seen cut pull him after the florida game. He wouldn't have awaited as long as clawson and fulmer did.

after watching pryor lead OSU to beat Wisconsin in a fourth quarter comeback, and then hearing this, i want to go cry in my room and question why I love UT football.

Cuttcliff did not like Crompton chances are that if Cut was still here that Crompton would not have ever played. It would be between Coleman and Stephens. I am glad we did not get Pryor god knows I dont want to see another Vince Young running around for my Favorite College team. Pocket Passers are the best QB's. Pryor looks decent because of the level of defense that plays against them.

From what I have read about Pryor, he would never have come to UT regardless of the coach. He may have entertained us as an option on paper only for a short time.

You know Vince Young was 30-2 as a starter right? The man became the first player in CFB history to pass for 3,000 yards and run for 1,000. He won a national title against "The greatest team of all-time (they weren't, but u get what i'm saying)." Vince Young might be the greatest college QB of all-time, heck Ronnie Lott even said that. I would have taken Vince Young on my team anyday. The last three national champions had mobile qb's that either started or came in to spark the offense.

Cutcliffe wasn't the biggest fan of Crompton anyway, so I'm not sure he would have even made to past UCLA as the starter.

Vince was pretty good in college from what i remember?

do u think he would have been that good in the SEC that thrives on Defense??? Not real sure if you can tell me besideds Tim tebow what Running style QB out of the SEC has been a huge success???? In other Cupcake divisions where Defense is no where to be found then yes a running style QB would be great, not in the SEC.

I think Matt Jones from Arkansas was leading the stats with most rushing yards as an SEC QB until now maybe Tim Tebow.

Why does it matter what he would have done in the SEC. He did it on the college games biggest stage...

You are totally right. He would have been great no matter what conference he went too.
