Read further in the article and it gives a reason why our coaching searches are a clusterf*** and we are a walking punchline in the national media.

It seems like that the coaches and the administratiors have a problem with communication. And it irritates me that they always keep to the vest while allowing rumors to surface.

I hate Florida, but they have better communication between the coaches, athletic department, and administrators than we do. And they always give updated info on what is going on instead of keeping it behind closed doors and letting the rumors explode.

Not surprised. Freeze used the school plane and phones to line up no less than a dozen escort services. And there maybe more to come out...

If the OP’s statement is true, it makes me think even better about Coach Fulmer! I am behind him 100%.

Freeze has so much baggage he needs several men to carry them all! We don’t need that at UT. I don’t care how good Freeze could be. There are other very good OC’s out there.

the guy is going to be on his best behavior. One only gets one second chance. he knows his career would be done if he screwed up again.
He is interviewing for football coach not saint.

There is no way Pruitt didn't talk to Fulmer before he even interviewed Freeze.
Anyone that would take a moment to think about it, would know that (Not meaning you.)

Either the digging turned up something or it was passed down that he was a no-go. And that's if any of this is even true.everyone providing this info has already given other info that proved to be wrong.
No one wants to consider that the interview just didn't go that great.

If they wait till after early signing period this class will end up a bust I can almost guarantee it. Idk what PF is up to with all this but if he makes a hire that JP don’t agree with we will be looking for a new HFC next off-season....

Let's put ourselves in Pruitt's shoes. If my first choice of OC, the one who I think is best for the team, gets blocked by external forces (UT AD), I don't know if I would want to be apart of that. They're basically usurping the authority that the HC should have. Any HC at any school should be able to hire whoever they want.

If so, Pruitt may get the heck outta dodge, and we may have another coaching search on our hands. (This is a worst case scenario)

I don't believe it.....and everything is gonna be all good....Pruitt and Fulmer has got this....And the fans that are not getting behind their Vols and supporting them should be ashamed...

It really is amazing that a man, Fulmer, can be here close to 50 years and some don’t know how to spell his name. It’s not Polish, or some other former eastern bloc country name, it’s American- F u-l-m-e-r. Respect a person enough to at least spell his name correctly. Fuller? wtf
