We have an AD who refused to realize that the game had passed him by, and had to be forced out. The fact that people didn't think he would meddle is mind boggling. This is exactly why a Les MIles/ Mike Leach type isn' t our coach. If we continue to suck, Pruitt will get fired and will probably be successful somewhere else. If he turns it around he will probably go somewhere with a competent administration.

I mean in all honesty guys.... sure he’s schematically a good football coach. However, he did commit multiple recruiting violations, did call prostitutes from a school issued phone, and is rumored to have mis-used his position of authority on minors while at the high school level. (An elite TN high school at that)

If the “not signing off” is true, is anyone really surprised? I mean, truthfully?

I’m not bashing the guy, I’m just not surprised by any of the rumors. Pru is a new HC... does he even realistically want a coordinator on his staff, with more experience and historical success (as an HC) than the actual HC?

You you say game has passed Fulmer by and then your two examples of coaches you want but we can't get because of Fulmer are Les Miles and Mike Leach. Les Miles got fire because the game has passed him by and Mike Leach is a fun to watch at times but not someone you want representing your university.

Best AD? Based off of what exactly qualifies that statement? His two biggest decisions thus far have been to extend Warlick and hire Pruitt. Pruitt hasn't proven anything thus far to suggest he is going to be a great coach and Warlick has been extremely underwhelming thus far considering the state of the program at the time.

1) Commas are your friend.
2) You might want to re-read my post and you'll see that I NOT ONE TIME suggested that, Miles or Leach should be our coach. I said that Fulmers interest in meddling was the reason for a first time hire. He wanted someone he could control. How many stories do you hear from other programs about the AD sitting in on offensive meeting?

Sure it is. That’s why she is still here. Fans assume if they aren’t final four every year and winning a championship every three years that she sucks. If she wasn’t good enough, she would be gone. It’s that simple. And like I said, no one can ever do what Pat did. If you measure every coach of the Lady’s Vols from Pats retirement until infinity...... it will never be good enough.

Why shouldn't we hold every coach up to Pat's standards? The reason Bama wins championships is they expect every football coach to be as good as Bear.
