One thing I've learned during this search, is that we have a fan base that can't be pleased with anyone.

Moses parted the red sea, but he wouldn't be good enough to coach the Vols...

1. It was God who parted the red Sea

2. The people started complaining as soon as they got to the other side. Human nature never changes.

Jeremy Pruitt-Head coach

Number 1 defense in nation FSU 2013, National champions
Number 1 defense in nation Alabama 2016 Runner-up
Number 1 defense in nation Alabama 2017

Tee Martin- Offensive coordinator

Pruitt and Tee both received National Recruiter of the Year Award. Recruiting dream team.

No way on Pruitt as HC!! He is to rough around the edges for a HC, however he is a great DC

It’s amazing how downhill our program has fallen. Shooting for bottom of the barrel coaches. If the 5 candidates are miles,Tucker,Venables,Steele,Morris then we should have just stuck with Schiano

If you think Venables is bottom of the barrel then you must not watch too much college football

Why does everyone think Tee is part of a Les deal? Not saying he isn't but where did this info come from and why has it been picked up on VN as a given?

Everyone is hoping against hope that Les doesn't have much input on the offense.

I personally don't think Miles comes here if he has his staff dictated to him.

Why hasn’t he been approached by other teams?

Les is a sharp cat... makes sense to me that he would give some parameters to his agent... I'd take this, not that, etc.
We do not know if or how many inquiries he's turned down. Mercy, he's the MAD HATTER. No one on this board can read his mind - or his mail. LET IT PLAY OUT

Schiano is worse than all you listed except Steele though.

I would take Tucker and Venables over him. Morris too even though I don't want him either. Miles no question is better.

Because Tee is quoted as stating he's is interested in coming home, but not as head coach. Makes sense to bring in Miles with SEC experience and groom Tee to be a head coach. Miles is older and won't be around too long, and will be ready to hand the reins over to Tee.

PLease provide where Tee made that comment. I missed it

I agree on the Les Miles front. But if it is Les, I think I'd be okay with Tee as OC. However, I could only see Tee making a lateral for certain HCs and don't think Les would be one of them. And the whole wifey, singing career thing on the west coast...

Look if wifey has not made it by now, she needs to move on.
