Lofton is back in Knoxville working out with UT players and coaches in preparation for a tryout with the Memphis Grizzlies, June 12-14.
The SEC's all-time 3-point shooter admitted his first time back inside Thompson-Boling Arena in nearly a year made him reflect.
"Coming in here just brought back so many memories,'' Lofton said. "It also made me think how time flies. It seems like yesterday that I was on campus for the first time.''
Lofton has moved back in with his old roommate, former player Jordan Howell, until he decides where his next basketball move will be made.
Lofton said his preliminary plan is to play a couple of games in the Pilot Rocky Top League at Bearden High School, which starts in two weeks, prior to playing in the NBA Summer League.

I hope this isn't a re-post, I searched "Chris Lofton" and nothing came up. I find it kinda funny since this was posted almost a week ago and VN let it slip though their fingers.

What's the story on the RTL? I am in Knoxville, but I don't know when games are or anything. Is there a schedule that includes game times and rosters?

I do have to come back up in July to move the rest of my stuff (plates and other kitchen items)... I might make an appearance at a RTL night.
It will give the fans a chance to really give him a big applause for the first time since the cancer story broke.

I will be there...

Chris Lofton has as good a chance at making the Grizzlies as Phillip Fulmer does at becoming the head coach at Notre Dame.

Whoa, namecalling after 4 posts. jeez. Sorry I offended a Lofton-Lover.

You just said people needed to tell the truth more often.

And yeah, I think Lofton is one of the best basketball players to come through UT. That doesn't mean I think he should play (or can play) in the NBA. But I don't have to shoot my mouth off to make myself look good. If Lofton somehow makes the team I know I will be there as many games as possible.

I guess you won't be at any Grizzlies games this year.
