Chris Lofton next year

I think Ramar could play in the NBA but I'm not sure about multiple all-star just yet though that would be awesome. I would take Lawson from UNC over him and the Texas guy Augustin.

I, too, think it's a little too early to predict that Ramar plays in multiple NBA all-star games, but I think he has tremendous upside and a long-term future at the next level.

Lawson and Augustin have been playing point guard since they were kids...Ramar has always been a scoring guard. His development as a point guard is just beginning, and it's very impressive. And his ability to get to the basket, draw contact and get to the line, play defense and rebound make him a great NBA prospect.

 Ramar could be a stud by the time he is done on the hill for sure.

Ramar, and Chism will have a shot. Crews had better play well as a 4 next year, he is an undersized big man right now. He had also find an outside touch, anybody remeber Corlis Williamson from Ark., well he plays the 3 in the NBA.

The best thing that could happen to Lofton is not get drafted. Then he can sign as a Free Agent with a team that fits.

I think the Washington Wizards would sign Chris Lofton when he goes to the draft. Or someone good gets him.

Reddick shot 3s - that's all, right? Lofton is a better defender (not excellent, but better than JJ) and better penetrator.

absolutely, lofton does everything he does behind the 3 point line without the benefit of the double screens that were constantly run for JJ. JJ couldn't penetrate (this one cannot possibly be argued) and also couldn't defend me if I had been a freshman 11th man for the Florida Atlantic Owls

While it's a bit farfetched to think that Crews will have an outside game, if somehow he can develop one, he will be SCARY

Look at the improvement in the games of 1. Childress 2. Lofton 3. J. Smith from year 1 of Pearl to year 2.

yes, but all three of them had some semblance of an outside game before, crews does not.

don't get me wrong, I hope he is burying 3s this time next year.

Redick got the same horsecrap backhanded praise because he started driving as Ds face guarded him more and more. Redick was an underrated and very annoying defender and if Lofton's better it means Redick actually played no D. Redick is 6'4" making him harder to deal with as a defender and he had a better mid range game than Lofton. If Redick could play any NBA style man, he'd be seeing the floor now, because he is the best frickin' shooter out there.

He doesn't even need to bury 3s - but instead, some 17 footers, some baseline jumpers, some elbow jumpers. Granted, these skills are rare in today's college game.

He would not be able to retire on his signing bonus if he is not drafted.

Come to think of it, I don't think that I've seen Crews attempt to take any kind of outside shot this year from further than 3 feet.

I don't think Crews will be burying 3s next year...or even 15 footers for that matter...but I do think he'll see more favorable matchups next year on both ends of the court. If Williams can get in shape and contribute, Duke should see minutes at the 4...and if McClain signs with the Vols, Duke will probably play all of his minutes at the 4. I think he will improve dramatically from this year to next.

Anthony McClain.

6-foot-11, center...ranked among the nation's top 50 players overall.

It looks like it'll come down to Cincy, UT, and Florida for his services...he wants playing time, and he could get plenty of it with us.
