The great thing about Bilas is, he tells it like it is. We sucked when we got beat by Butler and UNC and called UT on it..now that UT is playing well, he will say so. He is by far the best basketball commentator on television and by far the best at ESPN. The guy does not blow hot air up peoples butt like other announcers do. He tells it like it is. If you play like crap, he does not candy coat it..when you play well, he points it out.

When we lost to Butler and UNC, we should have been slammed! We were playing horribly, no helpside defense, we were not rolling off of screens very well and shot selection was not the best.

All three things the Vols are doing extremely well right now..that what makes Pearl such a great coach, they show improvement!

That's pretty funny that they changed it, but it was definitely there. I highlighted the paragraph and copy/pasted it.

I think what they meant to say was the Real UT.

I can not stand bilas. He is an idiot and was making love to TX during the game. As was pointed out, he said on one play that Durant couldn't have fouled because he was too tall. Then before the end of the regulation game he said TX wouldn't take a time out because that's not their style, not to mention they didn't have a TO. And what really got me was during the first half he said CL was talking bad shots. There is no bad shot in CL's arsenal.

Dispite bilas, I enjoyed the game.

Uh anybody that watches college basketball knows that Barnes hates to call T.O.'s at the end of a game. What is wrong with that comment, thats common knowledge of how he coaches. I sat in a coaches clinic where he spoke and he said he likes to let them play because when you call a timeout, it gives the defense a chance to set up. Knight used to coach that way at IU.

Bilas is the only guy who does not blow sunshine up every schools butt..he tells it like it is...which is nice for once. Tired of the Vitales of the world never saying how it really is.

Bottom line is, we sucked early in the year and he called us on it and now we are playing well and he said so. Saying he was biased about Texas is odd to me. I watched the entire game and he gave as much love to UT as Texas. And yes he should give tons of props to Durant because he is that damn good!

Although Lofton is the best, sharpest shooting college player right now in my opionion...this kid is rock solid...and thank heavens..hes A VOL!

I was at the game and taped the replay on ESPNU to see it again. I know that they have to edit it down, but, of all plays, I can't believe they edited out the five-second violation with the game on the line. That was the loudest I have heard a Vols crowd since the football team went on defense after taking the lead in the Alabama game. I am pissed at ESPN right now.

It was completely irrelevant. TX did not have any TOs - none, zip, zilch. It was just an opportunity for bilas to talk about barnes and TX. Rather than talk about UT and their incredible game. Bilas is a first class jerk, bottom line.

Sounds to me that we did listen to a clueless homer since Bilas cried any time that Texas had a call against them. I bet Bilas' @$$ is still chafed from riding Durant all game. Boy couldn't do wrong in Jay's eyes.

Analysts tend to be very effusive in their praise of top 5 players. Funny how that works out.

No mention of Durant falling in love with the outside shot at the end of the game and losing the inside advantage Texas had established all game.

I believe that would be a Rick Barnes issue. Just exhibit 15,977 as to why he is vastly overrated as a strategist.

I'd figure with Durant being so good and all that he could figure it out himself. I guess his athleticism is top 5, yet his court IQ isn't top 100.

Simply proves he's coachable. He goes where John Grisham's clone sends him. I'm sure Durant is going to be terribly worried about the game yesterday when David Stern calls his name as the second or third pick in the draft in June.

And that will be his biggest problem - listening to loosers like Bilas tell him how good he is. Granted, the kid is court savy, but he could be alot better. We couldn't stop him inside, yet he never saw the paint in the last 10 mins. except the last play.

And don't trash Bert - He's on Fire!!!
