Have you not made a similar statement in this thread? Chris Kyle was just following orders. He can't control where he fights or who he fights. His job is to follow orders.
martial law was declared and the military was order to attack, I think you'd see mass desertion and rebellion. Soldiers are not the mindless automatons you make them out to be.
You're really underestimating the ability of soldiers to have their paradigm shifted through training tactics. I would hope you are correct, but I wouldn't make any bets. After all, did we ever think there would be a day where law enforcement had the kind of tools at their disposal that they do today? Or that in many cases, would have such disdain for individuals' rights?

Everybody is capable of having their paradigms shifted. It all depends on who is training them and how they're training them.
These men and women also know that there are an estimated 117 million homes with firearms. Some have multiple weapons. Some have weapons caches. They are not going to turn on the US citizens.
