Chris Donald apparently just needed a new position.

Not necessarily. Just ask James Banks.

Good point- No matter how much better you are than those around you, if you're being triple covered (and your QB is an option guy), you're not going to catch 15 balls for 200 yrds a game.

Why can't we just be glad for him that he's has found a place where he can contribute? As far as I know, he's a good kid. He never got into trouble while he was at UT. I wish him well.

Was he over-hyped? Definitely. Was it his fault? Definitely not.

Wait a Second, why do you not consider him a traitor like BJ Coleman? Just curious

CJ Boleman left because he didn't have the stones to compete.

Donald left because he COULDNT compete.

HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

Don't you think Boleman wishes he had stayed now? Dooley had no ties to any QB at UT.

I think we now know that BJ was the smartest person in the room the day he left.

Bingo. Donald had quite a few occasions where he showed his promise and potential in practice, but he wasn't given the opportunity in games. Nobody would tell him what he was doing wrong.

There were several schools in D1 that wanted him this year, but he wanted to play right away, so he moved down with his good friend B.J.

Ugh. I think Coleman knew Kiff didn't give a .... about him. The same thing Poole figured out as the season went on. Poole was apparently transferring too this year if Kiff would have stayed. I'm just saying.

Ouch! For some reason I believed BJ's reasons when he left. Maybe b/c I'm a UTC alum? Hmmm.

Nevertheless, he and a few others look a lot smarter this year than last.

Nevertheless II, had he stayed the course and took the alleged injustice, he would most likely be the starter this year and next at UT. But who knows. Since he left several pieces have fallen into place (NS exits, TB commits, NN commits). So who knows what things would look like today had he stayed? Can't really see NS or MS beating him out tho.

Sometimes good things come to those who are willing to wait. Matthew 5:45...he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike...

Since you're throwing Scripture out there, how do you know that it wasn't better for him to transfer? How do you know he wasn't led to leave and go somewhere else?

You're blind homerism for UT is ridiculous when you bring out the Bible to support it.

Not to mention the same verse could be applied to your disdain towards Raleigh and the baseball team.

Don't be a hypocrite.

What the hell is wrong with you guys. Someone says they are happy for someone being successful at a FCS school, and you put a target on his back.

I am glad that Donald has found success. It is absolutely horrible that you give him no respect because he wasn't as good as you guys thought. Hobock is right it isn't his fault that he was overrated.

He chose UT over every other school. He showed loyalty to this program until he realized he wasn't going to see the field this year. He chose UTC for god sake. Don't hate on the kid.

Jose, and the rest of you trying to destroy Hobock because he is happy for someone's success. You guys are pathetic.

Look mofo, would you rather be guaranteed to be the starting QB at UTC, or have a SHOT at starting at UT?

I apologize if my Jerry Fallwell rant offended you.
