Heupel is 2-2 against Bama and Florida, which given our recent history is solid.

He is however 0-4 against Georgia so he’s got a point there. I hope that tomorrow is the day.

Heupel is 4-4 against Bama and FL, and 0-4 UGA. <- - is the big boy. Almost everyone has a Georgia problem.

To really break down the big 3 further Heupel is 2-2 against Bama and Florida. He is 0-4 against Georgia but considering where the Vols were when Heupel got here till now and Georgia being at it’s peak when Heupel arrived in Knoxville it’s not like we were remotely predicted to win. But the Vols have battled and been competitive with everyone else. After tomorrow Tennessee will have broken through another barrier. Tomorrow the 8 game streak stops and the Big Orange gets the Victory over the Bulldogs! GBO!!!!!

If he had just said 0-4 against Georgia he may have had a point. Florida is 0-4 during the same time frame but he doesn't mention that. Or that Georgia is 1-3 against Bama during the same time frame. Matter fact Georgia is 1-9 against Bama in their last 10.

While we were putting up 72, Bama put up 73.

Agreed. I don’t see how anyone could count that first year. We were complete scrape and rebuild when he got here. Just curious, how did Kirby do against the Big 3 his first year?

Like beating LSU 40-13?

Doering is just a biased analyst. It’s ok because everyone has some bias. But Heupel is like 39-15. He isn’t just treading water. He has us in contention.

Kirby Smart has lost 5 total games and 2 regular season conference games since Heupel came here. No other conference teams are consistently beating them either. Don’t hold Heupel to a higher standard.

Doering just hates that UF is even worse so he’s got to find negatives for other teams. That’s some bad analysis considering where UT was before Heupel.

the leghumpers are something like 34-4 vs the sec since CJH has been on the Hill. Only ol'piss (1) and the gumpers (3) have wins. all the other programs suck

It is odd that he starts diverting attention when his mighty gators are about to get owned by LSU for the sixth time in the past 7 years.
