Or Kenny O'Neal or Denarius Moore or Quintin Hancock... you know the WRs not RBs

Is Hancock that bad? I can't recall anything he's done this year.

O'Neal just baffles me. We can't get him involved in anything other than botched end arounds and reverses?

Hancock isn't a burner. He's a big possession WR. I have no idea why he isn't getting more PT.

O'Neal has a case of the drops and it isn't getting any better

o'neal also supposedly can't run a single route correctly either. there's nothing he is doing that would tell me he deserves to be on the field at any point.

Those plays blow up because he's been iced away on the bench all game, then all of a sudden we essentially announce to the world that we are running a trick play with these guys in the game. They aren't eased into the flow of the game and they aren't disguising whenever they are using a trick play very well. Heck, all we have are 2 trick plays, the reverse and the Taylor to Coker pass down the left sideline.

like my post above says, if he could run a correct route, they might try to get him in the game more.

I agree that they should be in the game for at least a series or two before trying to run a trick play. However, what use is a WR that can't run the right route or catch a football?

Agreed. Where has Hancock been? Misplaced with Montario maybe but for all the games?

Yeah, I remember both those plays...I just thought he would be in the rotation this year...but then again, that was before Taylor, Briscoe and Rogers stepped up...You think he'll get some more looks now that Briscoe and Taylor are dinged up alittle?

That is the system. We recruit players that were successful in high school at one position and beef them up to play closer to the LOS. If you are a high school corner, we usually make you a LB, if you were a LB, we move you to end. If you were an end, we move them to tackle. Tennessee isn't the only school that does this to get speed. That isn't the problem. The prblem is coaching them up while they grow into those positions.
Amen their Rasputin......makes me feel bad for occasionally wanting you poisened, wrappped in a rug and dumped under the ice in St. Petersburg

Did you see the differance betweem UT & LSU when we played them last year.they have speed
on defense and big time size as well.
....yep.....from the 30 yd line.....15 rows up(or so). There is the ROOT of your problem and NOT what his(Chris Brown) size or weight or heart are. BTW, I hope you REALLY mean @ TE.

ok great thanks for the feed back i guess the players
are being developed ok. so lets keep pf around a few more years
Not trying to be a prick here.....but hit spellcheck. As you can see, we all have to hit "ignore" alot on the spellcheck, but I'm having to use a decoder ring for your post:rock:

Whatever the case I wish he would've used this alleged mean streak to get yards after the catch this season. I've rarely seen a TE go down so easy after contact with one DB on him. IMO he really missed his chance this season, he had a senior QB with incoming question marks at WR, and RB's being challenged to move the ball on the ground. The scenario was wide open for him to be Ainge's go-to guy and IMO he came up as short as Cory Anderson. If he's driving a truck for Averitt Express in a couple of years instead of football IMO it's his underacheving at fault.
...Damn, man.....Ouch!!!

Here, here !!!! It is RIDICULOUS to blame that fumble on O'Neal. NO WAY it could have been controlled.....tell him to run down feild, make a wiggle(judge the way the back is playing you) and slant for the endzone......GET THE BALL. Hell, give hiom a "fly" route. I don't care, BUT IF HE IS DUMBER THAN T.O. and MOSS then it's our COACHES fault. BTW, I'm agreeing with YOU Rasputin......

How many routes did Percy Harvin run last season? Seems like all he did essentially was go deep and run reverses. You don't have to make it that complicated.
