I love the Crushed ice idea so I will get me a plastic bag and hammer.

I got an ice crusher like this at World Market - it beats the heck out of the hammer and bag:

Beer - various microbrews - am really getting into the seasonals - Oktoberfests, Winter Lagers, etc. and always have some Jagermeister with it.

Rum - Mount Gay, Cruzan 2nd favorite

Tequila - 1800 Reposado

Bourbon - Blanton's Single Barrel, Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam Black label, Wild Turkey (Rare Breed, Russell's Reserve, or Kentucky Spirit for sipping on the rocks or neat, 101 for bourbon and coke)

Rye - Jim Beam Rye if I'm in the mood for a Manhattan or a Sazerac

Scotch - Haven't settled on any one single malt yet, but like Chivas Regal as my blended scotch.

Gin - Tangueray

Vodka - Belvedere, Effen

Liqueurs for after dinner on Saturday night if we go out: Grand Marnier, Tuaca, Brandy & Benedictine, Drambuie

Wine - I enjoy learning about and trying many different kinds, like I do with beer.

Dewars, Glenlivet, Glenfidditch, I always enjoy a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red too, mainly because it is about cheap as scotch gets without completely sucking.

Glenmorangie is my choice and comes in different "finishes." I like the Portwood.

Macallan and Lagavulin are excellent, but pricey.

Glenlivet is good for less-expensive.

I would look for conundrum if you can find it...excellent wine for about 20 bucks.

Great choice -- complex white that is still easy to drink. My wife's favorite.

Chivas Regal is good to...All the Johnny Walkers are great, but the Blue label is just insanely high.

It's "two buck chuck," actually. Don't go all hoity-toity on us. It's certainly drinkable but nothing too amazing.
