It's kind of surprising to me that Kentucky seems to have gotten inside of people's heads. The results aren't mind boggling or astounding:

UT Martin Won 59-14
Ohio Won 20-3
Florida Lost 36-30 (OT)
Vanderbilt Won 17-7
South Carolina Won 45-38
ULM Won 48-14

I think we'll solidly beat them.

Agreed. I also like our chances against Mizzou and Carolina.

Jiminy Christmas, the negativity here after a 35 point win with no defensive scores is hilarious.

At least that bodes well for those of us in the secondary ticket market!

We lose to Miss and Bama, then win out and go bowling. Biggest win will be at SC.

I didn't vote but our most winnable games are Mizzou, Vandy, USC, KY. However, I don't think they are in the bag by any stretch. My optimism was greatly tempered last week, and I'm pretty cold towards the offense now. It is going to have show significant improvement over someone other than a mid major for me to warm back up to it. I think they can and probably will take 2 of those four, but I wouldn't bet on 3 that is for sure.

85% of VN sees us going to a bowl. This also happens to be what most were thinking before the season. So, is it the 15% making all the negavol posts or is the negativity perhaps more to do with adjusted expectations after the Oklahoma and Georgia games?

Perspective from computer rankings, for those who like that:

Sagarin would favor us in all of our final 4 games, for a 7-5 record.

Massey would favor us against UK, Vandy and make us an underdog against USCe, with Mizzou basically a toss-up, for 5-7 or 6-6.

Interestingly, Sagarin has us at #20 in the nation in his "Predictor", which is the best at projecting future results. Seems high to me, but also gives me some optimism because it's a big improvement on previous years.

Vols will go bowling. I believe. Somebody's got to equal out the negativity up in here

Mizzou - got shut out at home by a UGA team we nearly beat on the road WITH Gurley
USC - has the same record as us currently against a slightly easier schedule
UK - has honestly not been tested because I don't consider a 17-7 win over Vandy convincing nor do I consider USC a strong opponent
Vandy - HAHAHAHAHAHA

My point is that 7-5 is still well within the realm of possibilities.

Vandy is the easy one.
Kentucky seems legit and they will be favored.
SC, Missouri and LSU have all been up and down. Anyone of them can beat us with having their bast game while we'd probably have to play very clean to win against one of those three and we've regressed badly on penalties and mistakes.

don't know why i thought we're playing LSU. Senior moment.

Vandy is the easy one. God, I hope so. We are on the road to have a number of injuries before Vandy. I hope I'm wrong, but the way the Oline is working, and with Bama and Ole Miss coming up, I can't get the potential of disastrous (for the season) injuries off my mind. With all that said, I too agree, if I were making odds today, I go UT over Vandy by 24.

They have a decent offense, but bad defense.

they beat south Carolina and south Carolina beat Georgia who beat us. They was able to score on Florida s defense and we had a hard time . They have looked impressive but if we had there schedule we would have the same record
