ODU can’t beat Va Tech, they don’t have the players yet but if you give their coach 4 years he’ll be able to recruit enough good players so they can win. See talent is the only thing that matters and if you are less talentend then you always lose.

shoot, and I just wanted no more lightning delays, but I still hold out for a miracle or two...as a long-time, Vol fan, that's how I roll...:D...but, as always...

Well, we can. Auburn is a winnable game if we play with some fire and don't turn the ball over. Its not like they're an offensive juggernaut. I'm not putting any money either way but we can win this game IMO

I guess he hasn’t seen UT play a quality defensive line. Maybe, Gene should watch the UT-Florida game again.

The only chance UT has is if they can control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball but especially on offense where they will need to run like MSU did to win.

I hope they can, but I’m certainly not convinced they will.

totally random but I was leaving charlotte after the West Va game (the next morning around noon), and chizick was in the airport we spoke about 10 mins about that game and a few others. He was honest and didnt seem very impressed with the team. Sure he just had to have a "hot take" for clicks. feels like forever since we beat Auburn, or any SEC team for that matter...

i don't think we can, consistently, either...

we don't beat Auburn w/out Auburn helping us....penalties, mistakes, turnovers....take all we can get.

Remember.......this would be an UPSET. no one denies that. so, understanding that, no one expects us to just line up and "beat" auburn. it requires us to show another leve or two of improvement, not make many, if any at all, mistakes, AND Auburn continuing it's downward spiral.

3rd down offense and redzone D are keys ftom here on out.

agreed, but i'd just say that the 3rd down offense only really comes in to play if our 1st down offense gets better. 3rd down offense won't matter much if we're in 3rd and 7+ most of the game.

Why? Auburn really isn’t a much better team than South Carolina if we’re being completely honest.
