Chism's car stolen, blood found in it...

Its strange because there was blood found in it. And also the timing is just weird because of the Crews thing.

The article said the vehicle was involved in a wreck. Nothing strange about bleeding after a collision in a car either. :dunno:

Question? Why park your car in a fire lane. Your asking for something bad to happen.

You don't find it strange that Chism parked in a fire lane at 10pm and then came back at 5am the next day to find it missing, only it was stolen and not towed?

Then, they found it wrecked on MLK with blood in the car? Definately not the same kind of accidents I've been involved in.

If you've ever been to Andy Holt Tower, you could understand why. There is hardly any parking around there, and many students/people park their cars in the fire lanes all of the time, and then they probably forget about the car. If you are ever on campus during the week when classes are going on, you wouldn't believe the amount of tickets they give out. Students will park anywhere they can find a place, even if it's a fire lane, handicap, etc. I'm not excusing him for parking his car there, but it happens all of the time.

It was at ten oclock on a Saturday night of an off weekend. The campus was a ghost town.

Well that answers my question. Still being a off week seems like there would be somewhere else to park.

Yeah, I was one of them, but I can assure you that at that time, parking was not a problem.

Chism was questioned about the car and “checked for injuries that would have been consistent with the accident,” the report stated, adding, “No injuries were found.”
Chism also consented to a search of his room and answered police questions.
The report concluded that there was “no evidence that would have indicated that Mr. Chism was inside this vehicle at the time of the accident.”

So it's good enough for the cops, but there has to be something more to it?....

There is nothing significant about blood being found in a car, unless there are allegations of a crime taking place. I assume the police were looking for clues to who stole the car and noted the blood.

No, I don't find it strange that he parked in a fire lane.

What's strange about assuming your car was towed and to find out it was stolen after calling the towing service?

Again, doesn't seem strange to me, just unfortunate for him that his car was stolen and fortunate for him that the building didn't catch on fire with him in it. The KFD could have been hindered in putting out the flames because of his poor choice of parking in the firelane.

Bruce Pearl files for divorce. Billy Smith passes away. Duke Crews gets indefinitely suspended. Wayne Chism's vehicle gets stolen and wrecked. What's next for the basketball team?

Oh, I get it. Mr. Crews smoked a fatty, thought it was his car and had a wreck while eating behind the wheel. Man is he in big trouble.
I wasn't trying to connect the two as if Crews had something to do with this. It's just strange that they happened so close together. :p
