Please someone tell me why Chism is shooting three's. Its getting to the point where its ridiculous. What was he tonight 1 for 5 and the one he made was banked in.

as badly as we got out-rebounded and he's shooting 3's is just stupid. we are a small team and he is one of the bigger guys. Makes more sense to have him in the paint at least making an attempt to get a rebound or even box someone out. But what do I know maybe things have changed and I am out of touch with reality.

I lost it when he shot that last 3 b/c it was on the backl of two missed layups in a row... Went nuts and freak the old folks out that were sitting in front of me..:crazy:

I yelled at the TV so loud the wifey left the room...........

My wife yelled so loud after he missed the layups and then followed up with the missed 3 that I spotted.

I like Chism but he needs to quit shooting those threes and BOX OUT.. He seems to get overwhelmed when its time to rebound like he's afraid to. Same thing with Williams, he needs to use that big body and bang the boards.. But great win for the Vols!!!

To try and defend him a little, it is hard not to shoot the 3 in an uptempo style offense where your other 4 starting teammates are shooting the trey with success. Not to mention Childress when he comes in. I think Chism is still searching for his game and gets nervous that if he does not take that shot, then he will not get another touch in that posession.

That being said, I think those banked treys are serving more harm than good over the long run for Chism. He definately needs to work the paint more.

Pearl needs to tell Chism what his roll is and that doesnt include shooting three's. I mean hes shooting like 10% for the year. He almost caused me to have an anurism tonight.

Yeah I'm sick of seeing him Jack up 3s. It was annoying when we were playing the Bollweives it was infuriating when we are playing a good team like Ole Miss and the game is on the line.

My voice is almost horse all b/c of Chism, must have played bad b/c he didn't have his yamaka, i mean headband on

Pearl definately needs to work on securing the ball during rebounding. I can think of several times where UT had a rebound but would lose it to quick hands or a bump from an Ole Miss player. I though the refs were pretty easy on Ole Miss in the paint. Then again, they have earned it a little with their growing rebound reputation.

You guys cannot tell me that it doesn't look like a yamaka on the back of his head like that??? or am i crazy?

Chism looks afraid to bang the boards, play with his back to the basket, and play tough defensively in the paint.

I thought after Chism jacked up the last 3 that Bruce would take him out. After the timeout though, he was left in.
