Sorry, this is probably yesterday's news already, but what's the update on Chism? Didn't get to hear VolNetwork coverage. . . .

He took a shot to the head and was a little woozy. Bruce said they'd run some tests and that he's hopeful he'll be fine on Sunday.

Not to make light of his injury but after that kind of game they are all probably a little woozy.

Pearl was joking after the game that the trainer checked Chism and came back to the bench and told him that Chism was woozy. Pearl told him he's always woozy whats really wrong with him. :birgits_giggle:

I bet he just got winded because sometimes that can make you really woozy. This was probably the fastest tempo game he's ever played in and he probably just couldn't handle all the running.

Someone oughtta fire up the replay on that MMOD nonsense and see if they can see it. Itw as right before a commercial after JaJuan scored, I believe...

I watched the MMOD replay - they just show the trainers walking him into the tunnel. He looked lightheaded and had an unsteady gait.

My guess is asthma-related complications more than any sort of concussion. But that's just pure speculation

well considering the lack of frontcourt presence from UVA i really hope that Chism is alright

Pearl said he had symptons that were concussion-like, but never said he had a concussion. I suspect he'll play because he came back to bench late in the game and was laughing and joking around...

I read in the paper this morning that he was taken to a hospital after the game, but everything checked out ok. We need Wayne in a bad way Sunday.

exactly...it's fun to throw some smack around but UVA did'nt get to this match-up winnin a raffle. Give em their respect.....then beat they arse down...go vols.
