TN either has to stick with Butch or go all in for chip Kelly or gruden. I think Butch gets five full years before anything happens.

I can point out so many examples of college coaches not making it in the NFL and returning to college and dominating. Saban, Spurrier, Harbaugh (so far so good), Carroll any of these names ring a bell?

The administration would be dumb not to put a knife in Jones back if Kelly expressed interest in the job.

Bama Dave won't go for it and he shouldn't,see what the boosters and fans done when they got CPF fired,he would have been the winningest coach in Tennessee history,but they ****ed that up,so I don't expect any more decisions from them :)

If the boosters come to Dave Hart and tell him your going to fire Jones and Hire Kelly or we will. Then yes if he values his job he will listen.

Must of been something to these rumors. Maybe they knew we had a runningback masquerading as a QB. Or maybe they knew we had a used car salesman masquerading as a head coach. Either way we'll keep coach choke and let USCjr hire Chip Kelly is how that will work. The we can play beetch to them every year as well.

Win or lose, at least I'd have fun watching a Tennessee offense ran by Chip Kelly. Watching our offense this year is, well, boring. I'm not for getting rid of Butch just yet, but I am definitely straddling the fence. Big fan of what he's done with the program, but that has to turn into wins on Saturday. I said I'd like to see him through 2016 (which I thought would be TN's year). I just keep thinking that the players will be better next year but we will still have this coaching staff. Hoping the staff can fix their issues before the end of the year. I thought they would learn from the Oklahoma game and really go full throttle this game. Frustrating to say the least..

A good AD would try to court Kelly, just in case. Let him know that he has a nice offer on the table and lots of talent to win with....NOW. No rebuilding project...just coach. Let him think about it for the next few months.

If Butch stays, our recruiting takes a major, major hit. If Kelly is hired, we can actually improve this class, and he can hit the ground running. People act like this would set us back, if we moved on from Butch after this season. If we were to hire a mid-major coach, probably...yes.

Chip Kelly....no. He's already built his brand, regardless of how he does in Philly. Kelly could make Butch Jones recruiting look pedestrian.
