i for one wouldnt want chip kelly i really dont like the read option off i pre fer pro style look at the top ten teams most or pro style we will never be wru again untill we go back to a pro style

I guess you forgot about him taking Oregon to the Natty. Sam Bradford doesnt need to be running his offense. If he came here I bet he could beat UF in less than 3 years.

I would trade Butch for Chip Kelly in a heartbeat. Kelly could take any roster and beat Butch.

sorry just sounded like you were defending him. me personally I want a new coach tomorrow. I would give Kelley a lifetime contract. jones is possibly the worst coach I have ever seen at UT. like I have said, I have seen better coaches on the high school level. won't be happy till he is gone.

Chip would upgrade the whole O-Line and replace the O-Coordinator. It would be a perfect transition because UT already has the WR, RB's, and a decent defense.

And Kelly has how many NC's to his name right now? Surely we've learned our lesson from the Fulmer business. Anyone remember the last time we hired an NFL coach? How'd that work out? :horse:

Firing good coaches means anyone you hire is going to be looking for the next job at all times, knowing he could be canned. I think Fulmer started out 2-4 against Florida before the NC year, right? And many of them were ridiculous blown leads like we just witnessed. Screw it, those guys just have our number. I'm pissed as hell but the world won't end because of this loss. We'll probably still have a moderately good year and go on about our business. And you can always go home to this...:boobies::shaking2:

Are you seriously comparing Kiffin to Chip Kelly? Right now I find it hysterical that Vol fans would make an argument that Chip Fricking Kelly wouldn't be a home run hire. Too bad Texas or USC may decide to make a move before us.

They had a downfield passing attack one year in to their respective system. I'm really not mad at the offense, they played plenty well to win. The defense has got to get off the field on 4th down by hook or crook

Chip Kelly would be a great replacement for butch. But we all know UT will go the mid major route again and i would expect the next UT coach to be either Justin Fuente (Memphis) or Matt Campbell (Toledo).
