They discussed how the punishments have not been handed down. So an incoming HC has no idea what he is waking into. Both of them said that would could be a huge roadblock to hiring someone.

What’s interesting is people have praised Chadwell, Napier and some other offensive guys. But Heupel has a good HC record and ever since he has been there his offenses have been ranked #5, #2 and #2. So he has improved the offense. He has coached under Bob Stoops. Was the QB coach for Sam Bradford. In 2016 as the OC at Missouri, his offense was tops in the SEC.

UT isn't going to be able to hire a top shelf candidate like a lot of you want and UT will have to settle for hiring quality but not great head coaches like Josh Heuple,Scott Satterfield or others.

NO. We been down this road man. There are 2 guys out there that would be CLEARLY better. Tom Herman and Gus Malzahn. Chadwell wants the job. Franklin is at least INTERESTED. THROW HIM 8 MIL PER YEAR AND GET IT DONE.

Millions of dollars can make a lot of people do a lot of things. Our piggy bank is bigger than these candidates. JMO

And now you can be at peace with it. When you come to the realization that we are a bad program, it makes it much easier. I watched every game this year and never once got upset. When the game was over, I’d turn off the tv and do chores or play with the kids or spend time with my wife. I swear it’s like I gained 10 years of my life back. Losing used to ruin my whole week, now, I look forward to every Saturday but after the game, I turn it off, both physically and mentally. My team sucks and I’ve come to accept that.

Top shelf head coaches wont want to be bogged down in the sh*t that will be piled on the UT football program by the NCAA and possibly damage their coaching careers no matter what money you offer them.

None of you know who the head coach is going to be. You won't know until Danny White hires him.

Coaches take jobs with pending sanctions all the time. Two years (or less) of bowl bans and a few scholarships isn’t keeping that many away from the kind of money we are able to offer
