Does anyone else think before the year is over Childress is going to sit someone down? He has really stepped up his play. I would almost start him over Chism.

we don't appreciate you opposing coaches / players masquerading as Vol fans and giving advice

if you'd start him over Chism then I think you need to get your head examined. Childress is a good role player, nothing more

Childress is a great playercompared to what he wouldhave been playing under any other coach. He has a very nice shot and is incredibly physical...

That said: if we start him over chism I will be very disappointed in Bruce.

Uh because he was a 2* player coming out of school, with mid major talent that followed Bruce here from UW-Mil.

If you have seen him progress over the last three years it's obvious his progression is almost miracle-worthy. The combination of his work ethic and Bruce Pearl's coaching turned him into a solid SEC caliber player.

DMAC was a 3* does that mean that Houston Nutt should be credited for his Heisman votes?

Yep. 7 years old. I'm a prodigy really. That's why I'm a student at UT.

and you still use "otay, buckwheat" and think Pearl is the best coach on earth?

Just what are the criteria for being a student?

I don't think Pearl is the best coach on earth. I think he is one of the best coaches around.

But my ACT score, my grades in highschool, and my grades here in college, are my criteria for being a student.

You guys may think I'm crazy, but I'd start Childress over Duke Crews. The problem is, no matter how much Childress has improved (and he DOES look really good), he's not starting over Tyler Smith.

And no ... he's not starting over Wayne Chism.

But in all seriousness, does it really matter who starts on this team?? There are gong to be a TON of substitutions and it's all going to depend on matchups. IMHO, the guy who needs to step it up or he's going to get a huge slash in his playing time is Duke.
