Apparently on Dec 29 or 30.

Roster Moves: Long activated for finale

The Bears on Saturday moved right guard Kyle Long from injured reserve to their 53-man roster and waived third-string quarterback Tyler Bray.

Long returned to practice last Friday for the first time since injuring his right foot Oct. 28 in a win over the Jets at Soldier Field. He practiced this week without restrictions and is expected to play in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Vikings in Minnesota.

It’s a roster move that he’s quite familiar with. They needed a spot for Kyle Long. They release Bray and he clears waivers and goes to the practice squad. He’s done it his entire NFL career with the Chiefs and several times this season with the Bears.

Can't say that I really care as he is a quitter and I doubt that changed when he got to the NFL.

It's really a shame as he had all of the physical tools, just really short on the mental ones from what I can tell.

How is a quitter? Are you talking about the UK game? That part I get, the rest of his time on the Hill he was kind of a knucklehead, but he might one the top 3 most physically talented Qb’s weve had.

Knucklehead is probably the right term. I'll never forget Derek Dooley throwing up his hands because he realized Bray was out there basically drawing plays up in the dirt.
