everyone is talking about CLK's offence and the qb,s, other coaches, and the defenece. I wonder how much, if any, coach Cheney will have on the qb's. He has as good a track record as any of the coaches we have with the qb's. I still remember the Purdue offence it was impressive.
Chaney was definitely an understated hire and a great pickup for us both as a coach and a recruiter. I'm interested to see what kind of an influence he has on the offense. His offenses at Purdue were totally different from the USC offenses (lots of 4 and 5 receiver sets and not a lot of running). I think that CLK will largely be responsible for the QB and receiver play and Chaney will focus on the line. Just my take from what I've read.
