Checkering Neyland this year???

Haven't seen any talk about it this year.
I know for the Florida game everyone is supposed to bring a shaker.
I kind of hope they don't do it for Bama.
They bring too many fans. So, it would probably look more speckled than checkered.
Maybe Missouri or Kentucky, even though it might be cold.
Do most people own a white or orange jacket?

If it's going to be checkered for Missouri or Kentucky then we're looking at 5-7. I say don't do it at all and just beat the crap out of whoever we play.

I'm done with the checkerboard stadium and 3rd Down For What and all that. Let's just show up in orange, scream like hell, and win.

But, it seems now that so many people don't wear orange.
If everybody did, I would love that.
But, a lot wear black, white, and now smoky gray.

On tv, the checkered stadium really looks good.

Why do people think stuff like this really affects the outcomes of the games?

Why not do it? It looks awesome, and we should win most of our games this year no matter what jersey we wear or what the crowd is wearing

I like the checkered idea. Win or lose. Makes the atmosphere that much more exciting. However, I say lets not do checkered for FL game but do smokey gray uni's though.

I'm with you on this one. It added to a really electric atmosphere in the stands that didn't translate to the field. I didn't see anyone after the 2 losses say "well at least we looked good". Don't put extra pressure on Butch and the coaches during our big games. The man is conservative enough without it.

Agreed. We've got a checkered past with it but I think it is great.

Then do it against UK or Mizzou. As of right now it's a losing tradition. We don't need any more traditions like that

I think Neyland looks awesome checkered and would love to finally make it my desktop background lol (wont do that for a game we lost). However, I wish we would just do all orange in the stadium. I get that is the idea for all games but honestly, I haven't been to a game in Neyland where even the seats immediately around me are were filled with fans wearing orange (or orange/white) I typically don't mind the extras colors (grey, black, pink) but wish that we could do a game where we wore all orange in the stands and wore all orange on the field.

You're right 08. While we're at it let's not wear orange and white against UF and bammer. We've lost a bunch in a row to them wearing those colors...

What fans wear has absolutely nothing to do with the outcome. How do y'all not know that without Checker Neyland maybe we get blown out by OU? I mean that's just as plausible as the idiotic idea that it affects the game in a negative way.

I like CheckerNeyland and 3rd Down for What? Not sure what "and all that" includes.
Wear orange, get loud and win, I vote yes.
