Checkerboard Neyland for Florida game - checkerneyland.com

Do y'all think wearing one of the Smokey Gray jerseys in a white section will look horrible? I've been waiting to break it out for this game, but I don't want to jack up section W with my gray. Thought???

Don't mess up this one time to checker neyland. You'll have other opportunities to use it

This^

I don't think checkerneyland has ever happened. Be a part of history.

And, when it happened the one time in basketball, it was against UK and there were way too many blue dots.
Also, that one was organized by UT with shirts provided.

This one was organically started by two fans.
UT has adopted it but will not provide shirts for free.
We are counting on approx 98,000 Vol fans (Gator fans bought 4,000 tix) to find out which color to wear and then do it. Think about that! Many people don't like being told what to wear. I know several people (and they aren't all women) that think they look fatter in orange and won't wear it.
Will they relent for one game to help pull this off?
We shall see. But, I'm proud of our fan base for trying this.:clapping::clapping::clapping:

You need new friends. :p

We're in a white section (nb4 racist), it's going to feel weird not wearing orange to the game. At least I'll get to rock my orange shorts/belt.

The high on Saturday is 61, well cold enough to wear a jacket, and jackets are expensive enough to where people wouldn't shell out money to buy an orange one at the bookstore to wear once. Thoughts?

Make a "FOR WHITES ONLY" sign and stand outside your section, you racist.

The jumbotron or announcer might have to let the crowd know to take them off when ESPN is planning on doing a crowd shot, but I have faith we'll be able to make it look cool.

64 and sunny is perfect fall football weather. I'd say the biggest threat we have to not pulling this off are the blue-hairs that don't know about it because they don't know how to use or don't have the internet. Not living up there, I don't know if it's been publicized in media other than the net. Anyone seen it in the KNS or on the news?

Low 60's is not nearly cold enough to wear a jacket. My apartment is kept at 68 and I usually walk around in shorts in a t-shirt wishing I could turn the heat down.

If you need a jacket at 61 then there is something wrong with you.

No, but considering we have older people at games and my grandfather will wear a jacket when it's 70 outside.. it's a legitimate cause for concern.

It will still be cooler in the morning when most are tailgating and making their way to the stadium, so some people might bring their jackets into the stadium with them.

I'm with you though, that's usually a game where I leave my jacket in the car knowing that I probably won't be wearing it as the game goes on.

T shirt and pants when it's in the 60s
Button up and pants when it's in the 50s
Sweater/jacket in the 40s

61 degrees is beautiful weather for a football game.
The only problem is if it rains. That 61 in rain is much different than 61 without rain.
