Checker Neyland & Smokey Gray's?

Has it been announced which game we will wear the Smokey Gray's and Checker Neyland? Sorry if it's already been discussed but I haven't seen anything on either.

I actually love the Smokey Gray's..Plus since going to Nike we are undefeated in them. Hope we wear them Sat. Not that a uniform wins or loses a game but from a superstition standpoint I like the idea of wearing them this weekend. We couldn't play any worse than we are now, atleast I don't think.

I don't think the fans are up to any checkering so far this season. That is for when we have hope to win a big game. As far as the grays, who knows. If it motivates the players then do it. Seems there are certainly bigger issues to worry about at this moment.

I think the largest majority of the fan base has abandoned Jones and co.. Soo.. I would be surprised if anyone can motivate the said fans enough to even want to participate. Until a change is made to the HC ... I doubt that will happen.

I absolutely agree there are. Uniforms are the least of the problems but in this day and age players,fans and recruits love it and fashion is a huge part of the game today. From a marketing and Sales aspect too. I agree if it motivates the players then it their call. Plus the players love them in every Vol sports and that's really what matters. They are the ones on the field not fans so long as they do it doesn't matter what the fans think. Especially the ones who don't like them but the majority definitely does. But honestly I was just curious it's usually been announced by now or atleast speculation and I haven't seen anything on it. Regardless of that the team and coaching staff are a trainwreck right now. Outside of Mizzou and S.Miss I don't feel confident about winning many if any of GA,SCar,Vandy,Ala,Ky and LSU. We could win half of those or just as easily lose all of them atleast the way we are playing right now.

If the color of the uniform makes a difference in how this team will get motivated to play an Unefeated UGA then then it proves that Butch needs to go. You can paint a turd but its still a turd.

There's no hope for this season. Why would they promote it if nobody is excited about it. They should skip the Checkboard and Grays this year and save it for Florida next year.

Nobody asked you to respond bro and I just asked a simple question because that's what message boards are for. I'm sure your opinion is valued by somebody somewhere but not here. If I wanna worry about uniforms,weather or whatever I can do that. If you don't like it they have this thing called keep your suck closed. Doesn't get much easier than that!

I absolutely agree. Butch has very little support from the fanbase and it just got worse today. I'm guessing it's just gonna keep getting worse when we actually get into the more difficult part of our schedule.We will have a better idea after next weekend. If we fight and play well vs GA and manage to win then we will know the players are still playing for him. If they come out next week at home vs one of our biggest rivals and get run off our own field then I think we will know that answer. It's not like GA has superior talent to us so it's basically gonna be about Coaching and if Butch has or hasn't lost his players like he's lost the Fans.

If someone had the answer I wanted to know. I didn't wanna hear a lil Bish whine because he was still pissy from the game today. If was a simple question that I wanted to know the answer to without some tool that hides behind his screen. Did I simplify that enough for you or do I need to dumb it down more? It is something that gets asked every year and haven't seen anything about either. So I asked to see if it had been announced. Sorry if that bothers you dogg but if it does don't respond to it. It's as simple as that.

It's just bad bad bad. No more gimmicky stuff, nothing is going to change what is right now and for heavens sake, GET RID OF THAT 3RD DOWN MUSIC!! I swear and I'll admit to being old, blah blah blah but all that rap crap today was a reminder of how they do at candy. This isn't a club, it's football damnt!!! And yes, thank you, I feel better!

I have been watching or listing to Vol ball for 41 Years and i tell you this team has maxed with Butch.I like him but he has peaked.He can't take us any farther.
