Checker Neyland is a ploy to get the fans to turn out in force and really get into the game. I think the point the poster was making, that you replied too, is lets not rely on gimmicks for fan support. The coaches and players alike need to get their **** together on the field, and earn the fans support.Coaches and players have nothing to do with Checker Neyland

Goodness even a Checker Neyland thread started a cry fest. Thats impressive.
Instead of checkering Neyland, I have decided to kneel. I know I will probably get a lot of backlash and face some angry people but I hope VolNation will join me Saturday and kneel every time Rocky Top is played, unfortunately I don't believe I will be doing much kneeling.
Let's Kneelland Neyland Saturday and every Saturday until CLBJ is gone.
My son and I get to Knoxville for one game a year. We're going to the game Saturday. My son was hoping it would be a checker Neyland game and he is ecstatic now. We are surrounded by GA fans at work and school and this would be a fantastic game in which to at least temporarily turn the season around. GA fans are way overconfident, as they are at the beginning of every season. I think the stage is set perfectly for the upset of the weekend. Go Vols!!
If all these fans claim they are selling their tickets actually do -- there will be too much red for the gimmick
