So he’s the one who stole my choice of letters! When we moved to AL we held up the line for 20 minutes in the DMV office trying to come up with an available TN combo. My wife grew up in a UT family but attended WKU while I attended UTK for undergrad and WKU for grad school so we finally settled on WKU VOLS for her tag.

I imagine he grew up in Birmingham and has always been a good Ole roll tide kinda guy, but his niece moved off to TN when she was a kid and fell in love with our amazing program.

Then naturally as she started to mature, her Alabama ways caught up with her, and their love blossomed. This vehicle is the natural by product of that love.

Betting a lot of readers glossed right over this without realizing what it is actually referencing.

The most interesting thing here is the use of the “1” on the tag.
