I imagine he grew up in Birmingham and has always been a good Ole roll tide kinda guy, but his niece moved off to TN when she was a kid and fell in love with our amazing program.

Then naturally as she started to mature, her Alabama ways caught up with her, and their love blossomed. This vehicle is the natural by product of that love.

He probably went to Bama, but grew up rooting for the Vols. However his degree from Tuscaloosa makes him a bammer too. My best guess

Also i bet his bammer buddies give him non stop heck for this.

The wife said, "I want you to buy me a Roll Tide vanity plate for my car when you go down to the tag office in the morning. Ok, hun?"
Dude says "Yes darling, It's all you. Whatever I need to do for my lovely wife, I will!"
Dude at the tag office counter. "I need to upgrade to one of those Alabama Roll Tide plates please. And I need to get the following custom lettering, please" ... GBO!

Well if Alabama license plates are still made at the prisons, I am betting the inmates involved called the warden to make sure this was a legitimate request.

This is what happens to your brain when Alabama friends slip some Clyde May's Alabama whiskey into your Jack Daniel's shot glass.

Could be as simple as "favorite teams in each division."

Bandwagoneer positioning himself to jump on the new, rising bandwagon.

"...once was lost, but now I'm found. Was blind, but now I see."
