Speaking of dumb ass, your last sentence seemed dumb ass to me! Donnie beat Butler last season; Rick didn't.
Cutting down regional nets when you are the top seed is an accomplishment to be relished. I give you that. But that only happened one time. That's gone and it is only the present that matters.
My prediction for next year is that we easily have a better home record in the conference, but equaling the conference road record of 5-4 will be extremely difficult. I see 9-9 in the conference as attainable but could be as poor as 6-12, NOT that it will be that bad.
We have to go to Butler, play in Brooklyn, and at the Maui Classic. This is a tough road schedule for a young team. However, if we end up with a winning regular season record then RB should be considered for postseason honors.
But I definitely do not believe he is a smarter x's and o's coach than Donnie, and maybe not as good. My opinion, naturally.
You also never named a coach who you think would have taken the job if offered who has a chip. So....that's kind of an issue for your argument. Please tell me what year you actually think Donnie Dumb Ass is coaching again. I say 5. That's generous.
Lol how could you possibly come to this conclusion on what Barnes would have done with that team?I can't say when Tyndall will be coaching again until this investigation plays out. But I do believe, strongly, that when he does that His Team will be a WINNER!
No matter what the record shows, His Team this past season was a WINNER! Had Barnes been our coach this past season, we would not have even had as many as 10 wins.

Completely baseless assumption.
Had Barnes replaced Martin there's no telling what the roster would have looked like.
How many of Martin's players and recruits would have exited?
Wonder how many players exited or didn't show up because they felt that the petition, which 36,000 fans signed calling for Martin to be fired, was racist and Martin left because an offer relieved him from being around such fans!
Sadly the facts are that there wasn't much high level talent that left or got out of their commitments.
So I guess our players who are thinking Barnes is going to build a quality program are in for a big disappointment? This is true. And anyone who thinks Barnes is gonna bring in world class talent are just dreaming. Tyndall, or a similar type of coach, just needs coachable guys with a slightly above average skill set in order to produce many wins.
Last season Tyndall had enough post players recruited to do such a job that would have gotten 20+ wins and an invite to postseason play if it had not been for extenuating circumstances. This is all speculation, but maybe the negative karma created by the petition had something to do with our final results.
