There is no reason to be worried about this at all and this is probably the last you will hear about this. There have been several accusations made by media in the past few yrs that are nothing but sensationalized BS. The only point where one needs to worry is when there is a report that the NCAA is on campus. There is no investigation right now so there is no reason to think twice about it.

Did USM put out a statement that there was no connection between the possible infraction and Coach Tyndall? Texas did on Coach Barnes. The author of the article stated that Barnes was never implicated nor had any knowledge of the cheating. Two entirely different scenarios here.

Again, I'm not debating if he's guilty or not. I certainly hope not. However, the fact remains that these accusations are under investigation regardless of who did or did not put out a statement. It's not about how different the scenarios are. It's about what becomes of this particular situation. For the sake of this BB Program, I hope nothing.

Understandable, but try not to be too worried about a coaching change. The frustrating thing is its another tool for coaches to negative recruit against us(with guys we are in on), till its AA confirmed, that CB is in the clear.

I honesty haven't seen anyone act like this is some kind of "cloud" over UT except for the Clay Travis' types who are just doing it for click bait. To the rest of the sports world, it's pretty much a non-story.

Lol people are so black and white on crap like this. It's not a non-story, and it's not an inevitable death sentence. It's foolish to assume nothing will come of it, and equally as foolish to assume Barnes is guilty of anything.

Grey areas, people.

Yes it is very inflammatory. And that's the point I've been making. Everywhere you look on the WWW it's out there. Just Google Ricky Barnes' name. We can say all day that he didn't have anything to do with it but the fact remains that its before the public and, as usual, the public makes a mountain out of a molehill.

The first line in this articles reads:"Somebody check with the Weather Channel and see if that dark cloud hanging over Tennessee's basketball program is ever going to lift."

The way to get this dark cloud lifted is to have a "KICK BUTT" Basketball season! #GBO! :clapping:
