Comes with the territory when you're a dealing with athletes that have gotten away with crap like that their entire life and are being paid 6 or 7 figures a year with no recourse if they do not fulfill their obligations to the contract. I assume it happens at a lot of university football programs, too much money and too many attitudes. How come TN always gets a head case on the team every year?
OrIn the scheme of things, missing out on at least another 750k+ (assuming at least a million a year) AND losing a year playing is not a good look nor idea for his future.
He's going to have to work extra hard at (assuming) tOSU to prove himself to to NFL. He may ball out and meet his potential but he's made his trip to the next level, which is not easy even for the most gifted athletes, even harder.
It's not a win. $200-250k may seem like a lot of money but given his gifts, he has several million in his future IF he's not a head case or slacker.
Right now, he's a head case or slacker.
I bet you can’t find that anywhere in Byron’s works. Find it for us. Find it in Byron, not Google. To quote Lord Byron -
"A reasonable person will adapt themselves to the circumstances and situations around them. An unreasonable person will expect the circumstances and situations around them to adapt to THEM. Therefore, all significant progress is made by unreasonable people."
Fight on!
Alright. I was wrong. It was George Bernard Shaw.I bet you can’t find that anywhere in Byron’s works. Find it for us. Find it in Byron, not Google.
You must know Byron very well to put him forward as the decisive thinker on the most important things. (Or as a (falsely and pretentiously attributed) window dressing for your rash, proud, and unreasoning glorification of “fighting on!” prior to the one thing most needful.)
We’ll wait.
Someone likely already pointed this out but that wasn’t Lord Byron. To quote Lord Byron -
"A reasonable person will adapt themselves to the circumstances and situations around them. An unreasonable person will expect the circumstances and situations around them to adapt to THEM. Therefore, all significant progress is made by unreasonable people."
Fight on!
