Yep. Don't know what he's like in practice/private, but on the surface, Heupel looks like he's very soft spoken and non-confrontational.....a bit of a nice guy/pushover. Yeah, a so-called "players coach".

Sometimes you just have to be a demanding hard arse and insist on discipline and compliance or else. Let's hope Heupel has that in him, but to date, I've not seen evidence of it.

That’s been one thing that’s been said about Heupel. Too much a players coach and doesn’t push players hard. Think Joey even mention they didn’t practice hard/pushed hard in practice or something along those lines

If you paid someone x amount of dollars for their talent to do what you want done. They weren’t showing up when they were told to show up, and they post on social media bragging about how much money they have (the money you gave them for their job). Another huge red flag is the reports that Coleman doesn't like the new strength coach and his no-nonsense approach. This team needs a significant increase in physicality and mental toughness and that requires a buy-in from all the players, including Coleman.
