In the box: UT defensive coordinator John Chavis worked from the coaches' box last Saturday for the first time since 2001. Part of the reason, he said, was because MSU is known for getting play calls in quickly. Chavis said he plans to stay in the box for Saturday's game against Alabama.

Rivals ranks UT's current recruiting class No. 7 in the nation. The Vols have 20 commitments, including eight four-star prospects. UT had only four four-star recruits in the 2008 recruiting class.

KNOXVILLE — Tennessee picked up a commitment over the weekend from one of the nation's best high school tailbacks.
David Oku (5-10, 186) is rated as the country's No. 1 all-purpose running back in the 2009 class and is a four-star prospect, according to Rivals.com. He is from Midwest City, Okla., and had narrowed his choices to UT, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan and Nebraska.

I reckon after several years of being on the sideline so he could "look his players in the eye," Chief may have figured out that getting back to the press box is more effective so he can scheme better and put his players in a position to make a play rather that look them in the eye when a completion is made because they were 20 yards off the receiver! :pimp_2:

Good! Maybe someone can turn off his phone so he can't use the prevent defense the whole game.

Hell, we need, expect, and deserve a great game out of everyone of our men on the field. We can beat the Bammer Bubbas. After out D-backs pickoff about 4 or JPWilson errant wobblers, the Tidey Bowl boys will be limpin back to where all the Tusk, are looser.

We need to make sure that our concession stands don't start cashing those Bammer Players payroll checks at halftime. Also the vendors in the stands can't accept gold fillings for payment from bammer bubbas.

Tell the Bammer Bubbas to hang on to all their loose teeth, Gold Fillings aren't legal tender at Neyland Stadium.
