Go young and hungry
to your point this Chavis or the Chavis from the 20 years or so following this picture yes . Today’s Chavis as a Defensive analyst would be ok but in my opinion anything above that would just be asking for another messy divorce from his Alma Mater when the last one is just now starting to heal. 1603914431995.jpeg

I think we just need to STFU about defense and let Pruitt do his thing. JMO.

We're getting better. There have been and will be some challenges. Pruitt is a defensive mastermind. He'll figure it out.

Well, we're all ready for him to get started.

He said he would like to return to college football and coach a few more years. What are your thoughts on bringing him back as the D-Line Coach/Co-Defensive Coordinator?

John Chavis eyeing return to college football
Maybe that D Line coach he fired will get drunk, go to Pruitt's house, knock on the door and dare him to come out and fight like a man.....you know, like Pruitt did after a big argument with his HC while an assistant at Georgia.
not even close..
not sure what you mean CF...

I said last few games the guys look like they are in their 90’s , as in although obviously being sarcastic the last 10 quarters the Vols have resembled a geriatric ward intramural FB team.

When you reply “not even close” do you think that they resemble a team of 80 year olds or a team of 100 year olds ??

Ill get some heat for this but Phil needs to bring him back home in some capacity to send him off the right way.
Agree. If not to coach, then something in p.r., consultant, etc. John Chavis is a VFL & football savvy. Enjoy listening to him on Doug Mathews show.
