Any good places down here to watch the games?? I used to go to Spiceys in Powell, and would like to find a place similar down here to watch.

I'm not familiar with Spicy's, but from what I do know and the fact you like it, I'd have to say Buds on Brainerd Rd is the place for you. Just know you will share the place with a lot more Georgia and Alabama fans than you're used to. Chattanooga has too many of both being within 20 miles of each states border.

Never been to the place in Knoxville, but I have seen a few games at the Tremont Tavern in North Chatt. Good beer and a Vol friendly atmosphere. Also, if you get a seat at the bar, Brewhause is a great place to watch a game. Probably won't have PPV though. Great beer selection and awesome food.

Also, I hear T Bones in the south side is a good place to catch a game. Champy's might also be a good place to try.

As some have mentioned Buds and Fanatics are good. In those places you will have more of a mix between UT, UGA and Bama fans. Tremont Tavern is a great bar, bit literally have three TVs, one being like a 20inch. Not my style for watching the vols. T-bones is not bad if you're in that area, but not one TV has been purchased since 2001.

Barts lake shore is a great place to watch. 90-95% UT fans and they play the game over the speaker system. Great TV selection, good food and cheap beer. Also great view on the river.

Barts Lake shore sounds good......I'm in Marion County, right out side of Chatt..... It is almost like living in Alabama here, the local Walmart doesn't even carry Vols merchandise, they sell all Bama. Its disgraceful.... Its the walmart at Kimball Crossing, so I go out of my way to the Walmart at Lookout mountain.....they sell Vols gear.

I liked Spiceys because you could eat your food, drink a beer, and not worry about fights breaking out or anything like that.... Just a good time with other fans watching the game.

Didn't even know there was a wally world where you are. But yeah you're basically in bama at your current locale. T boes is closest to you. Being a local I avoid brainerd at all costs. There is a bww downtown now so you could try there. Cbc downtown will have the games also if I had to guess.

Thanks for the suggestions! Now I just need a small radio for the inside of this thing, the arsonists don't appear to be football fans......meaning they like to set the woods on fire around kick off time on Saturdays. :loco:

Us Nooga folks on VN need a place. I hate Bud's. I watched the opening game last year at Bar Louie at Hamilton Place. It was full of Vols and nice TVs are everywhere. The beer selection is great. It is a little pricey though.

I know it. There's gotta be some where around here.

I used to know the manager of the BWW on 153. If I could find out where she is working now she would be willing to help out with something like that. But I am not sure where she works now.

Guys, Fanatics would be happy to have us if everyone can deal with a smokey sports bar...one of the few left.

Not a fan of the smokey bars because I don't smoke but if everyone decided that's where they were going I would deal with it.

Can we try to get a head count and I will see if Greg will reserve us a table?

How many will show up and watch some earlier games? Make him more likely to accommodate us.

I'm down depending on the game. Work most weekends but will be off most major games. Also if I'm not in Knoxville..
