I'm from Ringgold, does that count? :biggrin2: Does anyone else still think the city should have left MLK and McCallie one way? The one-way streets worked nicely and gave us 8 lanes of good, 35MPH arterial traffic capacity, and now we have this crap of parking on McCallie so whenever some soccer mom wants to try to parallel her Excursion the one lane of traffic we have left has to stop! MLK isn't as bad, but you still have people wanting to turn slowing down traffic much more than they used to.
Other than traffic, Chattanooga is definitely my favorite city. Now that were getting a nice downtown I can only see Chattanooga getting better, as long as you can get to it. I mean, where else can you go to see Ruby Falls, Rock City, and The International Towing and Recovery Museum, and then end it all by driving too fast up the W road and down Sawyer Pike through Falling Water to spend the rest of day out at the lake? And nothing compares to Riverbend and seeing 70000 drunken rednecks singing "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy".
