Chase Nelson started all of this

He didn't end up in the hospital because someone gave him a love tap.

You are right. People on here need to quit trying to act like what is alledged to have happened outside is not a big deal. We are suppossed to be a football team, not a gang. Kicking somebody while they are unconscious is not acceptable.

I'm not saying he won't be kicked off. To me, the fight in the bar is not a huge deal. What happened outside is. If somebody kicked the guy while he was out cold, they need to be charged and kicked off the team immediately.

I don't disagree that the scuffle inside the bar by itself would probably have gotten him dismissed, but couple that with the other issue and it might.

Ha well a) let's hope he isn't faster than Myles and b) I am glad they are working to get the facts straight before they just suspend/kick players off the team. I hope this gets resolved soon so we can move past it. Also, any word on Da'Rick?

I've been out of town for a while, so I've only got bits and pieces of what happened, but why did D.Myles get booted if he wasn't that involved? Or was he more involved than I've read? I just saw where it said he ran from the cops and hid in a bush because he didn't want to get into trouble after what happened a couple of months ago with him.

Myles ran from the police and when he was caught, he elbowed the officer in the face and ran again. Because of his other recent trouble, he had to go.

Ahhh, that was the part I was missing. Thanks!

It pisses me off that we were making news in a good way with recruits and these dumba$$e$ take away all that momentum.

This is such a cluster F by the KPD, NOBODY knows whats going on. We are on day 5 of this and NO major\felony charges have been made. Meanwhile a guy is still in the Hospital and no charges have been brought on that assault

This is such a joke, earlier players were saying that Chase Nelson wasnt even at the Bar

So let me get this this straight:

Chase who is not one of our best players and not nearly as important as Walls or Hughes appears to be the guy who threw the punch?

Myles who might have started but is not nearly as important as Rogers or Milton is taking the blame for what happened on the outside.

The guys who really need to stay look like they might be staying?

Well, sounds good to me. Let's wrap this thing up and get some more recruits on board!!!

GBO!

I would say no.

you would think the kpd would have a pretty good idea of who hit the officer and who kicked him ....

It's starting to seem as if the folks from Bar Knoxville are all victims of "They All Look The Same To Me" disease. Multiple witnesses appear to be using three large black gentlemen interchangeably in their recitation of events.

I think by the "puncher" they mean they guy who punched the Russell guy INSIDE the bar, starting the brawl.

Apparently the reports are still that Walls hit the off-duty cop.

I hope we can get out of this situation losing only Myles and Nelson...but I really doubt it now.

That's usually what defense attorneys like to hear isn't it?

you'd think someone could have said "the guy with the green shirt" or something along those lines.

I would think that would make the defense attorney's day.

that would be alot better than the alternative

Being a legal mind himself, Dooley instituted a policy in which all players must wear the same color shirt out in public just in case of an event like this. :p

no but I don't think it's ever been proven anyone "cold cocked the KPD cop or who was kicking him when he went down". There's a huge range of things that could have happened

Myles ran from the police and when he was caught, he elbowed the officer in the face and ran again. Because of his other recent trouble, he had to go.

where did this "elbow to the face" rumor start? All I saw was he "struck" the officer. He might end up having a gun by the end of these rumors
