Brother.. he was the best freshman in the country and we Jalen Hurded his ass. Totally our fault he went to Wake
“Totally our fault” we won the national championship the year you are catastrophizing about, I suppose you meant to say. Nothing to do with Hurd, obviously. Everything is OK. 😂

thanks for making my point, he's not a vfl so who gives a flip what he does in the mlb....might as well talk about what kind of night skeens had, would be just as relevant

Ohh I see I read it wrong… I’m a Sox fan which is why I made my comment originally.. I really don’t care about him but he was pretty good I thought when he was here

I’m not sure how any batter could process this difference and make a meaningful adjustment for an advantage. It would seem to be utterly impossible in the short span of time required. However, I guess you never know for sure.
I’m still trying to comprehend why the angle of the glove wrist is tweaked depending on what the hand on the throwing arm is doing.

What a ****ing newb. Can’t believe you don’t understand what “holding his glove with the muscles of motor tract 5 so he has no choice” means!

You caught me. I admit, I had to google motor tract 5.

My 8 year old has his 2nd round of travel ball tryouts tonight, I’m gonna have to coach him on controlling his motor tract 5 muscles before he goes through his pitching workout. I can’t have him getting cut due to just flaunting a 1.5 degree angle differential in his wrists.

I think Mizzou knew our pitches a few years ago in the frozen tundra. Amazing how good some folks are at recognizing tendencies and grips. I guess the 3B coach often is the main culprit.
I think it's the guy in the nosebleed seats with binoculars, a box a donuts and a walkie talkie. Then again, he could just be scoping out the talent in the stands o_O o_O o_O

Chase is still a Vol imo. It sucks he didn’t end his career here but if guys who play here 1 year (Doyle, Fischer, Amick, etc.) get to have that title I believe Chase does as well. However I’m not sure that any of them care about it nearly as much as we do.

He's a Vol, he's just not a VFL

Since I'm a Reds fan, I'm rooting for him

Agree. @preacherman20 got Kirby to run a photo of Chase that my daughter brought to a game back to the locker room in 2023 to have him sign it. She treasures that autographed photo, even though Chase transferred.

Now my daughter works for the Reds. That autographed photo is in her apartment.

Do you remember that, @preacherman20? It was the 2023 Mississippi State game.

What does she do for the Reds? I have a daughter that was in sports for a while. She worked for both the Dodgers and the Predators.

She’s finishing her senior year at UC. She started her job with the Reds in April doing fan experience. She goes around the stadium talking to fans, handing out promotional items, monitoring kids in the kids zone, etc. She’ll keep working with the Reds until the season ends.

She wants to work in athletics, so she’s trying to make as many connections as she can.

Funny thing was, one reason picked that game to go to was that I wanted to see that ambidextrous pitcher for Miss St.

We hit bad traffic on the way from Nashville and didn’t make it til the 2nd inning. The Vols had already chased him. I think we scored 8 runs or so in the 1st 2 innings.

Didn’t get to see the ambidextrous pitcher, but we had a great time nonetheless.
