Rick Russo reported on the radio this morning that Weiss was in town at Catholic High School for over two hours this morning. Russo mentioned that Weiss was pushing hard for Harrison to commit today. However, according to Catholic's coach, no commitment has been made at this time.
I agree with therickbol... this clearly indicates that Smith is still thinking seriously about going to UT. He could've made Weiss' day by committing today, but he didn't. He's a Vol at heart... hopefully that will be the deciding factor.
He is done with visits. He just got back from the UT visit so he knows where UT sits. He gets an in-home visit from the head coach who tries hard to get him to commit and he does not. You think that means nothing? If he had made up his mind to pick ND then there is absolutely no reason for him to not commit to Weiss today. The recruiting process perks and visits are done, what does he gain by not commiting if he has made up his mind?
If you were a recruit would you want to commit in an at home visit or would you rather have a press confrence where you would be the star recruit commiting to a school?
well, since one's in Nashville and one's in Knoxville I would hope they go to different schools, but if you go to Nashville, Tennessee news from The Tennessean, Tennessean.com - MUSIC CITY U.S.A you will find an article saying that Weiss was to be present at Pope John Paul II to accept tate's commit. nashville and knoxville are plenty close enough for Weiss to make the drive during the day.
