Strong is the anti-Dooley.
He's a great coach, but not a good recruiter. It's also unclear whether he's a good administrator.
My big worry with him is that he'd immediately turn things around in his first few years, but like Fulmer, the program might decay a bit after that.
Of course, this might not be the case; just saying that's the thing I'd be most worried about with Strong. His recruiting classes at Louisville have been dismal. Current class is ranked #71 on Rivals. To put that in perspective, Dooley was grabbing mid-70's classes at Louisiana Tech, and it should be much easier to recruit at Louisville than La Tech.
