Will not pull guys we want from Miami from Shannon.

He has been pulling in talent since he got there. Wonder if he will ever do anything with it. To get back to Petrino level is a tall order for him.

Well I like what cs doing with Lou..cards he's going to be a great coach over time..I also like cdd if we can get cs as dc I believe it would really turn around our football program..Great win coach Zo..the feature is bright..

Strong has a better rep in Fla than any coach in the business. Shannon has burned his connects at Mia NW,Central, Glades and STA. Strong just flipped two UM Top LB commits over the last 10 days.

Hilarious. Strong isn't coming back as a DC right now. He's too busy turning the Louisville program around.

He faced shannon before in the 2004 peach bowl.

7 and 6 two years in a row against a crap schedule is not strong.

If he does not get 9 next year he is failing pretty hard.

Louisville is not playing in the SEC.

what did Shannon ever do at UM with all that talent? 85% of the Dade kids want to be Canes and he never did anything with that. If Strong was coaching at UM he would have a Top 3 class yearly and win 9 games a year. Shannon and Strong maybe better DC than HC but imo CS will have better HC success.

I know some things about what you speak of and some of those burnt bridges are bridges that needed to be burnt. How did all those kids the other year from Northestern work out the other year? LOL!!!! STA he's still good at.............

That's because Strong lets those fools push him around. Shannon doesn't put up with any **** from those kids or communities and you know it. Bottom line!!!!!!!!!!!

let Strong piss some people off. Dade is still loaded but not what it used to be my friend and most of the kids at STA aren't even from Miami originally.

Not sure of the success he would have as HC, but if you read his bio....it seems that he is preparing himself to be a stronger leader and is focused on being a HC again. If so, I would like to see UT pass on him.

Dade is still loaded but Broward and PBC are making a move bc they have better schools. Shannon just needs a new start and he'll do just fine in Fla but his mojo was gone at UM.

That's crs as dc....I would've prefered ccs over cdd as hc would be in a much better position lucky we got a strong ad look at cdd first choice as dc was I believe they got 70 scored on them...

Would take Strong over any name I've heard for any coaching spot on our sidelines. Including Smart, Shannon, Steele, etc.

He is not leaving for a dc job. I think he is a great dc who is doing okay as a hc. If he stays at 6 losses on a crap schedule he will be seen as a failure as a hc. He needs to take a step this year.

Shannon has the connections to get in homes all over and has much better facilities than miami to sell now.

Louisville was a grease fire. Will be a 10 win team next year. I understand it the Big East. Charlie will be on the sidelines at a football school this time next year. I wish it was ours, but I wonder if Hart already has his mind made up on Dooley's replacement.
