Charlie Strong for Defensive Coordinator

Can this be the official petition to remove Bob Shoop as defensive coordinator and replace him with Charlie Strong. It's not Butch's fault we couldn't stop anyone from scoring this year. It's not the injuries, crucial injuries exist across the country. Penn St got better when Shoop left and we give him too much credit with his tenure at Vanderbilt. Butch handed him the keys to a Bentley and completely destroyed it on the first day. Charlie Strong has a chip on his shoulder and I can root for a guy who has been through hell.

This ain't happening either. Strong will want to prove himself as a HC, even if it's at a group of five school, so he's not going to take a coordinator position.

I don't think Shoop is as bad as it seems. I think Lyle is Metalink too much.

How can a guy with Shoop's reputation suddenly be so terrible? From my position on the outside looking in it defies reasonable explanation. Butch has to be the reason.

Shoop was a failure. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose but I respect Butch for taking a chance on him.
