Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

I had absolutely 0 friends making fun of Charlie Kirk's death on social media.

I have 2 friends posting jokes about Renee Good's death, and they come from exactly the same group of people who flipped the **** out about Charlie Kirk jokes.....and they're exactly the same group who made George Floyd jokes.

I'm seeing "FAFO" and "she found out" everywhere.

The wailing and gnashing of teeth over the death of a powerful man at the hands of a terrorist and nobody can be bothered to care about a Mom who stood up to an overreaching government's masked agents and they shot her from behind as she was driving away, regardless of what else happened.

Sure ya do

The issue on both sides of the aisle is this rush canonize people who are assassinated or killed at the hands of the police.

Charlie Kirk was no saint. He was generally a despicable person who utilized race baiting to score points with his base. That being said there is no way he deserved to be shot by some mentally deficient terrorist. This is America and you should feel free to speak anything on your mind without having some left wing loon murder you.

This Good woman was inserting herself into a situation in which she did not belong. Protest away, but using your car to interfere in the official business of the officers is stupid and illegal. However, the idiot cop who went running up to the vehicle was looking for trouble. He had no business wearing a badge. She shouldn't have been shot and if these guys weren't given carte blanche to carry out their jobs while wearing masks it wouldn't have.

Following this story the "intent" argument, in either direction, is the most frustrating facet of the whole discussion. There is NOTHING about what someone's intent is that supersedes what their actions project onto others. If you're in a parking lot and want to record a "funny" prank by jumping out from behind a car wearing a hockey mask and slashing at people with a prop machete and get shot in your chest sorry bro...that's 100% on you and likely would never even make it to a grand jury. That all you wanted was some content for your Youtube channel meant the square root of jack to the guy that thought he might be saving the life of himself and his girlfriend.
I think that every time I see those scary clown prank videos. I guess they don't do those in constitutional/concealed carry states.

The masks had nothing to do with her being shot.

It has to do with their lack of accountability. Kind of like internet keyboard warriors are far more courageous than the same person standing in front of you.

Don't get me wrong, police, ICE, FBI ext shouldn't cover their faces while on duty but I don't believe masks makes cops (in general) feel less accountable. They've always felt that way.

I think the anonymity emboldens them more. It also creates an environment where the public becomes unsure of whether they’re being robbed or arrested.

What a complete BS take about Kirk.

oh please, first of all seeing 3-4 men in tactical vests with police and ICE written on them you wouldn't think anyone was being robbed

secondly, she purposefully knew they were ICE because she and her group had been harassing them to begin with,

I don't like the reality that local and state law enforcement can elect not to assist in enforcing the laws of the land.
so you were for those cops arresting people on the beach or swimming during Covid? Or shutting down churches?

what you actually mean is you don't like law enforcement enforcing the laws that YOU like.

To be fair, she was shot first as she accelerated at the agent. Mom should have been on the sidewalk instead of being encouraged by her wife to drive away. Maybe your MySpace friends take that angle.

Again, where has the Democratic party called for political violence. Not randos, but party leaders and established left wing pundits.

Far and away, calls for political violence have come from the right.

Enter into the too much ICE thread.
