Yeah, saying things like how you would be scared if your pilot was Black was generally considered pretty extreme until right about now. None of that is a promotion of violenceJust in case anyone thinks it’s a fringe movement on the left that promotes violence: this is from the NYT and calls tributes to Kirk “dangerous” and calls his rhetoric “extremist views”

"If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified.'" isn't lacking context lol. Same with blaming the deaths of little girls at Camp Mystic on a "DEI fire chief" that IIRC was hundreds of miles awayWhy did he say that? Do you intend on removing all context and intentionally misrepresenting his views as “dangerous” and “extremist”?
Or do you want to tell us what exactly he was saying

"I am saying out loud that I view Black people doing a job as different and inferior than white people doing the same job, but that is no longer textbook racism because DEI made me do it" is pretty much the definition of extremist views being mainstreamed lmaoSo why would he be afraid of a black pilot? Was he stating he believes they’re inferior or that DEI intentionally allows for inferior candidates as long as they have sufficient melanin?

Being all scared of a Black pilot while trusting a white pilot in one of the most heavily regulated industries in America is very obviously racist and you are saying everyone should be more like that lol, not exactly disproving my point about how this has been mainstreamedLiterally not what he said. He made a perfectly normal argument that DEI creates a lack of trust.
That’s not an extremist argument. It’s one everyone should agree with. You can claim “DEI is still needed despite this”, but rather than have an actual discussion over the topic you just falsely proclaim everyone/everything is racist.
And that is promoted by mainstream left wing publications.
He’s about 70 percent common sense and 30 percent whackadoodle.. which is a pretty high margin for a democrat.. that category of people will flourishI think he may be much more intelligent than I ever gave him credit for........ Hear me out.
Right now the one thing missing in American politics is a rational voice calling for cooler heads and unity. I can see him spinning this in the coming months into something worth watching out for.

Lmfao. He said he worries about qualifications of a Black pilot, which he obviously doesn't do for a white pilot, and he bases that judgment on...the race of the pilot when he looks at said pilot. But that's somehow not racist. This is hilarious, it's the Patrick Star memeIntentionally misrepresenting. It’s truly pathetic
He’s making a true argument that you decrease societal trust if you intentionally hire less qualified candidates due to their race. That’s an obviously true argument. You can argue DEI is still needed despite this, and many would.
But rather you take intellectually dishonest route and just pretend he’s a racist. Pathetic

He can't see the pilot's test scores by looking at him, it is explicitly based on the fact that the pilot is Black lol. Hilarious to argue that's not racist, this is very enjoyableNegative. He he bases that judgment on DEI lowering standards for the black pilot.
Once again, your misunderstanding is intentional

Oh, so he is just concerned about the Black pilot population, even the ones with good test scores, because they are Black. You don’t have to know anyone’s test scores to be concerned. You only need to know that x% of black pilots were chosen despite meeting conventional standards.
Next time there is an opening at your job, go to HR and say "if it's a Black guy, i'll be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified.'" and let me know how they take itHave fun with your ignorance. It’s obviously intentional.
"Actually we should doubt the qualifications of every Black professional, but you know you can trust the white ones. It's okay, if you say 'DEI' then that's not racist"
