I am not pretending. I see that ICE agents are being used to address a 20+ million illegal immigrant invasion enabled by the "other side" over the past 4 years. I am also not pretending and ignoring the tactics used by the nutjob, open border proponents in attacking ICE agents on a daily basis.

The argument that masks don't offer protection from doxxing is just silly to be honest, not even worth a debate on it's face (pun intended). Now if your argument is that the protection they offer doesn't outweigh the publics need to see their faces we can have that debate.

But it's not even a debatable fact, masks absolutely offer protection from doxxing.

how? if you have a clean enough picture to see facial features, you will also have their name and badge number too. that name and badge number is how you would look any of them up to dox them.

as I pointed out, there is no publically accessible federal database that would let anyone look up a federal agent by their picture. there ARE federal databases that will let you look up federal agents by the badge number.

like seriously, you think these doxxers are going online with a picture of the ICE agent, without knowing their name, their ID number, without knowing what office/branch they are out of, and what? Doing a reverse image search on Google? sitting there thru literally millions or random facebook, twitter, and other various social media accounts until they find the guy? assuming he hasn't changed any facial features. How is the picture actually helping?

The cartels pretty much do what they want. They literally took over apartment complexes in Colorado until Trump ran them out. Ran them out at the angst of the government in Colorado.

The ICE agents and their families have the fear and reality of doxing.
A mask helps to reduce that doxing risk.
No idea what your are trying to say in regards to Fauci and the mask as it is not the point of any discussion in protecting the ICE agents.

Yes because much of the time they won't be close enough to see that name or badge number.

If they do get the badge numbers then being able to place a face with a name makes them and their families targets in public. Yes doxxers would absolutely use those photos of faces to identify them for the purposes of intimidation and harm for nothing other than doing the job they tasked with. That's the done purpose of doxxing them to begin with.
