Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Portland, Oregon
Widespread doxxing campaign: In July 2025, the DHS reported that groups in the Portland area were doxxing ICE agents by publishing their names, photos, and home addresses online and through physical flyers.
Flyers and harassment: The distributed materials included threats like "NO PEACE FOR ICE" and "CHINGA LA MIGRA". Some activists allegedly left trash on officers' lawns.
Online groups: DHS identified two online groups, "Rose City Counter Info" and "The Crushian Daily," as responsible for some of the doxxing. The department said these groups were affiliated with Antifa.
Los Angeles, California
Flyer distribution: In early 2025, activists in Southern California began distributing flyers featuring the personal information of ICE and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) officers.
Activist interference: The activists patrolled communities to broadcast information about ICE activities and disrupt raids.
California farm raid: In July 2025, a large protest broke out during an ICE operation at a California marijuana farm. DHS accused a member of Congress of showing a crowd an ICE employee's business card, which allegedly led to an attack that injured the employee. The congressman involved denied the claim.
Santa Monica, California
Arrest for doxxing: In September 2025, a Santa Monica man was arrested for doxxing an ICE attorney. He was charged with violating federal law that protects federal employees and was accused of posting the attorney's home address online with instructions to "swat" them.
Other instances of doxxing and threats
Nashville data leak: In 2025, Nashville's mayor's office mistakenly published the names of federal immigration agents involved in an operation, which was then circulated online.
General escalation: Federal agencies have reported a significant rise in assaults and threats against ICE officers. A retired ICE agent noted that the threat of doxxing is a key reason many officers wear masks during operations.
I thought there had been actual attacks on families, and that was the justification.

No, the city allowed a call to prayer. There's a difference.
No parents can opt out of the teaching of the bible in schools or tpusa...but everyone within town limits is forces to listen to the call to prayer..they don't get a choice to not hear the call to prayer...
Would you support a town playing Christian hymns or prayers all day long???

you mean for at most 5 minutes 5 times a day?

my parents moved back to a small town. their church rings its bells before its two daily week day masses, and before any weekend masses too. its not just 3 rings and thats it either. its a couple minutes.

is there some magical cut off on how many times, or how long, religious noises are allowed?

Not that I'm aware..

This is ridiculous.

It says that the memorial must be in “a prominent area” on the main campus of every public college and university in the state.

The bill says the memorial must include “a statue of Charlie Kirk sitting at a table with an empty seat across from him” or one of Kirk and his wife holding their children.

Designs for the statue must be approved by the legislature, the bill says.

The bill says that if schools do not comply with building a memorial, they will face monthly fines.

The bill also mandates that the schools take measures to protect their memorials from vandalism and automatically expel any students caught defacing them, the Guardian reports.

If you have a name and a photo do you not think it would be easier than just a name?
depends on the data base I have.

regardless of the photo, I am going to need the name.
with the photo the first piece of information I am going to need to get, is the name.
I don't think any publically available data starts with the photo, not even sure how it would work.

that's going to turn up way to many names to ever be useful.

the name is the most important piece. if you aren't withholding their names, you aren't protecting them from being doxxed.

We should have their names. They work for us. They are public servants. If they are in danger of doxxing, it's only because the people are fed up with the abuses. We have a long-standing tradition of law-enforcement in this country showing their faces, telling us their names, and working with the community. There is a reason for that.

If you can't show your face at your job, find a new line of work.

Serious final thing I'm posting here.

That's completely unnecessary. Second time I agree with you.
Charlie wouldn't want this.

You sound like you didn't actually attend college beyond some 1000 level courses.

Try again - I have a degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from UT.

I guess the problem is that I was not a Liberal Arts or Education major - though I did have to take some of those classes, which quite honestly were very unchallenging and easy for me.

Must be a regional expression.
I have never once heard someone use that. The definition says it’s British?

Take it in the shorts
Take it on the chin

Those are idioms we would recognize.

Take it in the neck was intentional.

She doesn’t write her own stuff (she can barely read her own stuff), but she’s ultimately accountable for it. And it was pretty disgusting imo.

Would make more sense on the campus he died on or maybe if it were his Alma mater (possibly?).

But if it’s just a weird virtue signal, it seems dumb

I don’t think Kirk would want statues at schools. He wouldn’t want to be treated like idol.

If a campus wants a memorial, let them do so. If a town/city square wants one. Go for it. Forced respect is kind of worthless.

So you think 2 points of data is equally effective as one point of data?
