Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Or...they will have at least 2 options of ideologies to adopt?

Being that these are HS students, and the faculty as well as many textbooks are already slanted in a decidedly Leftist and atheist direction...I am all for teens aged 15 to 18 having more information and more choices of who and what to believe. Public schools and especially colleges have become Leftist Indoctrination centers. Unless you want a future US populated entirely by only Democrats and antifa, more choice is clearly a good thing IMO. If the TPUSA stuff was mandatory I would be firmly against it...but it isn't. Sadly the teachers and curriculum ARE mandatory though if homeschooling or private school isnt an option in the household which is BS but thats an entirely different discussion.

Stop being so afraid of everything. Is there one HS in the country you can point to and say they are turning out Antifa kids? Where is the evidence?

Everybody knows the old adage about young people being more liberal and then becoming more conservative as they get older. But when it happens in real life, everywhere all over the country, people are looking for some nefarious reason. Kids are just generally more idealistic than you. That's it.

Californian High Schools. The school I teach at.

I know things have been crazy for a while, but I still can't believe I'm arguing with the right that a secret police that wears masks and snatches people up without due process (and other BoR violations) is a bad thing.
If there is a prison break in a small town should police just assume everyone they see is not a prisoner or wait until there is a positive id you make stops or should they stop and detain people to determine who is and isn't an escapee?

I know it's a different situation but some of the same principles apply.

Do you believe there is an immigration problem or do you feel there is not?

You're actually describing sympathy.

Trust me, you want sympathy from culture when there is no empathy. I may never know what it feels like to believe that I was born in the wrong body, but I can still have sympathy and concern, desiring for their best.

It's odd to me that the left have been asking for sympathy, compassion and inclusion for those that differ from us, and when Charlie makes a fairly blatant support for this concept, he's vilified for it by the left.

I believe this is one reason that the left is losing platform. Too many people are making these connections.
No, I could think through the circumstances of a shark bite and its consequences and have a good idea of what the person's faced and facing and have no sympathy for them. If they're stupid enough to jump in a shark tank on a dare they deserve no sympathy.

While I agree in principle there is a difference in this younger generation. They are not as thoughtful, more prone to mob, anarchist action. That's a problem for society. The question is how do you combat it?

To be honest, I can't believe you're arguing with anyone on the right, considering the number of people you seem to have on ignore. You're not too keen on much public debate these days AFAICT.

Am I obligated to waste my time with people, LOL?

You are posting in a forum where you are in tune with the general vibe, and you have no idea what it's like to have 95% of the posters disagreeing with you (and maybe 30% of them argue in bad faith). You know how many f-ing replies I get? I'm on here too much and that's with me ignoring a huge chunk of my replies. I'm not afraid of any debate, I just don't have time for the big time-wasters.

If they had reason to believe they were illegal it was within their legally defined enforcement duties. If they were not it's a mistake and those involved should be punished and reprimanded/disciplined. Their superiors should be held accountable for reporting this as well. If they do not or are not forthcoming they should be held accountable as well.
All true, and there's absolutely no reason for them to hide their identity when on duty.

If they are doxxed consistently, addresses published etc....... There is. If the ice agents shouldn't wear masks no politician should have a security team etc.

Some jobs require an extra layer of security. I draw the line at police though unless they are SWAT or possibly some anti gang or felony units going into homes to serve warrants etc.
