Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

For many in MAGA, its not sincere. It is a ruse, which they use to make it look like MAGA is open to diverse voices and interests, when in reality it is anything but. MAGA positions are decidedly against such voices and interests.

Consider MAGA rallies during the campaign. 99.99 percent white and they would use the one or two black people there as props, sitting behind Trump. Scan the audience? Entirely white.

Some have figured out a way to monetize their support of Trump or MAGA, to be sure. We see their x or instagrams re-posted here from time to time.

Now, having said that, there is nothing per se barring blacks from buying into all sorts of other MAGA ideals. Anti-immigration, crack down on crime, tax cuts for the wealthy, promoting religiosity. Any racial or ethnic group can buy into all or parts of that.

But when it comes to race relations, and in particular how blacks are viewed in terms of social programs and criminality, MAGA is without question a permission slip for that 99.99 percent to adhere to those resentful views, even if dressed up in pretend tolerance.
How's the other side is “racsit nazis” working for you in national elections as of late?

Charlie Kirk was good at convincing people he was right, but the ability to convince people that you're right does not make you right. People learn this in college.

It's easy to convince people that leftist ideology is flawed....because it is. So was Charlie Kirk's.

I just really liked the idea of challenging young people to think critically about their values and how they arrived at them. I wish there had been a leftist Charlie Kirk out there going to college campuses challenging conservative students on the same principles - why do you believe what you believe and can it hold up to scrutiny. It would’ve been the ultimate picture to show the world. 2 competing ideologies peacefully and respectfully challenging young minds to think through their convictions. Makes you wonder why many the left chose to celebrate the silencing on the right instead of supporting open dialogue. The answer to free speech you don’t like should always be more free speech, not violence.

His ideology was founded in Biblical principles. If you think they are flawed, then I will pray for God to open your heart.

You must not have listened to much of him other than viral clips. People who platform those with strongly opposing views aren’t just trying to convince people their pov is right

He said "economics and other policies."

I would guess economics matter to black folks because they are people but I also assume they are catching wind of some of these other policies. You'd have to assume they don't know/follow anything that's happening to make the case that other policies aren't affecting this.
If I smash my foot into the ground as hard as I can, the laws of physics say I am affecting the entire planet. so yes, those other policies have an effect. but considering Trump ran on most of those other policies, he was very vocal about being anti DEI; I doubt the drop in his popularity is based on any considerable amount of impact from his DEI moves.

the economy is where he has failed and lied. DEI is where Trump has upheld his promises. if people are getting pissed, its about the first, not the second.

a lot of ideology was founded in biblical principles, doesn't mean they were perfect. we have WAYYYYYY too many examples of biblically based ideology to even begin to accept that many/most of them were perfect considering how things have consistently turned out.

He was human, so he would be the first to tell you that he was not perfect. But, the teachings of the Bible are, and that was the position from which he argued.

Great to see a “libertarian” showing so much love for another “libertarian”.

This love affair that you have for a man who set up a hotline during Covid to snitch on your neighbors, friends, and families for gathering together to celebrate Thanksgiving was one of the most beautiful moments in the history of freedom and liberties.

Shut down churches but allowed “protests”

This love affair is so beautiful.
