Charlie Kirk’s murder was senseless and it’s opening eyes. Even some on the left are disgusted by the way parts of their own side reacted, with mockery or silence instead of basic decency.

People are realizing this isn’t about left vs. right anymore, it’s about standing against political violence. Kirk died for speaking his beliefs, and that hit a nerve with an extremist. More moderates and former Democrats are saying they’ve had enough and are moving right.

This has been an enormous tragedy; but also a turning point. Anyone that thinks the left has a chance at winning the Presidency in 2028 is delirious. There isn't a true leader in the group. Name one Blue state that isn't suffering from extreme homelessness or drug issues OR BOTH. The vocal minority can be just that, the minority. Collect your Food Rations and be the Useless Idiots you desire to be.

Good post. Dont be a stranger here. Lots of like-minded folks here in the PF. There are a few extremely loud Leftists here but the vast majority are normal, sensible people who don't support criminals, trannys, illegals, murder and theft etc.

The idea of leaving a party due to the behavior of its constituency is always puzzling to me.

I'm not going to magically dry hump the idea of corporate tax breaks and overturning Roe v Wade just because some nut job shoots some clickbait debater.

That said, it doesn't surprise me if the average American voter is dumb enough to do so.

Hopefully the left won’t win again - leftist policies include open borders, criminal illegal aliens, gender affirming care for children, and democrat socialism. Americans don’t want what the democrats are selling. They had to cheat to get in last time so hopefully never again.

It won't make a lot of difference for most dems, they'll make whatever ticket that runs out to be the next boogiemen. The next wave of hitler/nazi/facist/racist/homophobes/misogynist/bigots that will be an end to democracy.

The plan from day one was to expose Government and MSM. Trump was right again based on how it’s all unfolded and how the left oligarch and MSM is now viewed. He disrupted the status quo.

The killer found him very intolerant too. I’m curious. If your son came home dating another man who believed himself to be a woman and like to dress up as a furry, would you:

A. Embrace their relationship
B. Shun your child
C. Seek immediate mental healthcare for your son

I think your “tolerance” is a root cause here.
